From steel stud framing and drywall installation to taping and finishing, we follow established safety procedures, maintain clean and organized work areas, use appropriate personal protective equipment, and coordinate closely with the General Contractor and other trades. Our goal is to complete every project safely, efficiently, and in accordance with site-specific requirements.
Safety is integrated into every project — not treated as an afterthought. A few of the practices our crews follow on site:
Hazards are identified and controls established before work begins.
Crews assess the task-specific risks of each activity before performing the work.
Short safety meetings cover the current site’s hazards, procedures and any changes.
Hard hats, high-visibility clothing, safety footwear, eye and ear protection, and task-specific PPE.
Proper systems and procedures are used for any work performed at heights.
Tools, ladders and safety systems are inspected on a regular basis.
Clean, organized work areas and controlled access reduce trip, struck-by and other hazards.
Incidents and near-misses are reported and addressed promptly so hazards don’t repeat.
First aid, emergency contacts and site-specific emergency planning are in place on every job.
Work is performed in accordance with applicable OH&S requirements and each GC’s site rules.
